Job Description

Join our Flight Operations – Navigation Services team as a Senior Flight Dispatcher based in Doha, Qatar. In this pivotal role, you will organize and manage shifts, providing essential technical support to Flight Dispatchers while assisting the Duty Manager in maintaining operational control aligned with safety, efficiency, and economic objectives.

Develop, review, authorize, issue, and revise Operational Flight Plans for all scheduled and non‑scheduled flights, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Analyze operational conditions, identifying opportunities and constraints affecting operational capabilities, including weather, facilities, Air Traffic Control, and aircraft performance.

Conduct Operational Flight Watch to monitor changes in operational and meteorological conditions, communicating relevant updates to the Pilot‑in‑Command.

Provide thorough flight crew briefings covering significant operational information as requested.

Coordinate with Maintenance Control and the Pilot‑in‑Command regarding aircraft deviations and operational limitations.

Monitor flight metrics including position, time, flight level, fuel, and path deviations using the TOPS Flight Watch system, advising the flight crew on in‑flight fuel management.

Relevant College or University qualification with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Flight Dispatch functions.

Completion of a training course in accordance with ICAO Doc 7192, Part D‑3 (Flight Operations Officer/Flight Dispatcher) approved by a Regulatory Authority.

Experience with Computerized Flight Planning systems.

Strong understanding of ETOPS theory and regulations.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office applications.

Well‑developed lateral analytical thinking skills.

Excellent command of spoken and written English.
