Light driver job in Doha Qatar
We are looking for a qualified, experienced Light Driver to join our team in Doha. As part of the role, you will be responsible for driving a light vehicle such as a van or SUV to transport goods and personnel. You must be able to drive safely and courteously, and maintain the vehicle in good condition. The position offers a competitive salary of 1800 QAR per month.
We are open to considering immigrants for this role.
- Drive a light vehicle such as a van or SUV safely and courteously around the area
- Monitor vehicle condition and perform basic maintenance such as checking oil, water, brakes etc
- Load and unload goods
- Ensure paperwork is completed accurately and in accordance with local regulations
- Follow safe work practices
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Maintain accurate records of routes traveled, deliveries made etc.
- Valid driver's license in Qatar with appropriate endorsement/s
- Proven experience as a light driver (at least 1 year)
- Good knowledge of local roads and areas within Doha
- Good communication skills both written and verbal (English language is preferable)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Competitive salary of 1800 QAR per month
- Paid overtime hours (if applicable)
The ideal candidate should be reliable, punctual, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work under pressure.
