We are seeking motivated and reliable African nationals for the role of Entry-Level Truck Driver in Doha, Qatar. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals without experience to start a career in the transportation industry.
As an entry-level truck driver, you will be responsible for operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials across various locations in Doha. Your main duties will include loading and unloading cargo, inspecting vehicles for safety and maintenance needs, planning routes, and adhering to road regulations.
Key Requirements- African national with valid driver's license
- Completion of high school or college degree
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to obtain Qatari driver's license
- Ability to pass background check
- Loading and unloading cargo onto the truck using proper equipment and techniques
- Inspecting vehicles before each shift for safety hazards or maintenance needs
- Planning routes using GPS navigation systems or maps to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Operating trucks safely following all traffic laws and company policies
- Maintaining accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs
- Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient delivery
- Reporting any incidents or accidents to the supervisor immediately
- Maintaining a clean and organized truck at all times
