As a conference and banqueting operations coordinator, you’re not just supporting event delivery – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:- Safely operate company vehicles in adherence to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Transport passengers and/or goods to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and regular maintenance of the vehicle to ensure its optimal functioning and appearance.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service, ensuring a friendly and professional demeanour at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods as required, ensuring the safe handling of all items.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, while also being adaptable to changes and unforeseen circumstances.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, and any incidents or maintenance issues that occur during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to ensure smooth coordination and execution of transportation tasks.
- Deliver invoices to clients and collect payments, plus any other tasks as assigned by the director of finance.
