Dock Attendant

Safely guide vessels into and out of the dock using hand signals and communication devices ensuring smooth and efficient docking operations Inspect vessels upon arrival checking for any damage or discrepancies and report findings to the appropriate authorities promptly Provide assistance with mooring lines securing vessels to the dock and adjusting lines as needed to accommodate changing tides and weather conditions Maintain a clean and organized dock area including the removal of debris trash and any potential hazards to ensure safety High school diploma or equivalent is required;

further education in maritime studies is a plus.

Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record is a must.

Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable, demonstrating a commitment to safety.

Prior experience in a maritime or waterfront environment is preferred; experience with boats or docks is a plus.
