Position Overview
- Role: Lift Boat Captain / Master
- Location: Qatar (Offshore)
Minimum Experience
Job-Specific Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in rank as Master.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in rank on DP2 Jack-Up Barges / Lift Boats.
- Suitable DP2 Lift Boat / Jack-Up Barge experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree from a recognized Maritime Academy or University.
- Valid Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency – STCW A-II/2.
- Valid national Certificate of Competency with applicable Flag State endorsement/recognition.
- Valid Full Unlimited DP Operator Certificate issued by the Nautical Institute.
- Valid BOSIET/FOET (with HUET).
- Valid Seafarer Medical Fitness Certificate (STCW I/9).
- Valid Basic Safety Training (STCW A-VI/1).
- Valid Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (STCW A-VI/2-1).
- Valid Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF
- Reg. VI/3). - Valid Medical Care On Board (STCW A-VI/4-2).
- Valid GMDSS General Operator's Certificate (GOC) (GMDSS
- Reg. IV/2). - Valid Radar Navigation & ARPA (Management Level).
- Valid ECDIS:
Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems. - Valid Ship Security Officer (SSO
- Reg. VI/5). - Valid Bridge Resource Management (BRM).
