Transport Manager

This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. The Transport Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the organization's transportation operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of goods, materials, and personnel.

• Manage and coordinate daily transport operations.
• Plan and optimize delivery and transportation routes.
• Supervise drivers and transport personnel.
• Prepare driver schedules and monitor attendance and performance.
• Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and inspected.
• Monitor fuel consumption and transportation costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and customer complaints.
• Maintain accurate vehicle, driver, fuel, and transportation records.
• Monitor transport KPIs and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
• Manage external transport contractors and service providers when required.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in transport, logistics, or fleet management.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Good knowledge of fleet management and transportation operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and transport/fleet management systems.
