Receiving and Inspection
- Receive incoming shipments of frozen dry products
- Conduct quality inspections and verify the accuracy of orders
- Report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor
- Properly store frozen dry products in designated areas within the warehouse ensuring they are kept at the appropriate temperature and in an organized manner
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Prepare orders for outbound shipping—pick the correct products and quantities, check expiry dates, and ensure they are packed securely and correctly for transportation
- Safely load and unload frozen dry products onto and from trucks utilizing appropriate equipment and following safety procedures
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure efficient operations
- Regularly conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels
- Perform data entry and update inventory systems as needed
- Monitor the condition and temperature of frozen dry products throughout their storage and handling
- Report any issues or deviations to the supervisor
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards, including the proper handling of frozen dry products, use of personal protective equipment, and keeping the work area clean and organized
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Report any equipment malfunctions or damage
- Complete required paperwork and documentation related to shipments, inventory, and quality control
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations
- Provide support during peak periods and adapt to changing workloads
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment (Handling of frozen/dry products)
- Forklift & PPT Machine operation is a plus
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices in a frozen/dry product environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work in cold/dry storage conditions
