Assistant Inventory Controller

Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Inventory Controller to support inventory accuracy, stock monitoring, and reporting across our retail and e-commerce operations. Working closely with the warehouse, procurement, and operations teams, you will assist with inventory checks, stock reconciliations, and maintaining accurate inventory records to support day-to-day operations

• Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP and inventory management systems
• Monitor daily stock movements including sales, returns, transfers, and receipts
• Reconcile physical stock with system inventory and investigate discrepancies
• Report inventory variances, stock losses, and damaged or expired items
• Monitor stock levels and help coordinate restocking
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and operations teams
• Support continuous improvement of inventory processes and procedures
• Support other inventory and operational tasks as assigned

• 1-2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or stock control roles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail; able to spot and investigate discrepancies quickly
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple stock movements and priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication skills for daily coordination with warehouse, procurement, and operations teams
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset; able to flag issues and follow through without being prompted
