Job Description ###
** Job Purpose
** The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations of AOC by ensuring the
** accurate receiving, storing, organizing, picking, packing, and dispatching of products and materials**. The role requires maintaining proper inventory records, ensuring the warehouse is clean and organized, and supporting the smooth and timely movement of stock.###
** Key Responsibilities
*** Receive, check, and verify incoming products and materials against delivery documents.
* Properly store and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
* Pick and prepare products accurately based on sales orders and internal requests.
* Pack products securely and ensure they are ready for dispatch or delivery.
* Assist with loading and unloading goods while handling products carefully.
* Maintain accurate records of stock movements, receipts, transfers, and dispatches.
* Conduct regular stock counts and support periodic inventory checks.
* Report damaged, missing, or mismatched items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
* Ensure products are stored safely and systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
* Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety standards within the warehouse.
* Support the preparation and movement of stock between the warehouse, AOC stores, and other designated locations.
* Coordinate with the Sales, Retail, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure timely fulfillment of requirements.
* Follow established warehouse procedures, inventory controls, and company policies.
* Assist with other warehouse and operational activities as assigned by the supervisor.### ###

** Qualifications & Experience
*** High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Previous warehouse, stock handling, retail, or logistics experience is preferred.
* Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
* Basic computer skills and ability to maintain simple stock records.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
