Overview
Within the Independent Living programme areas, the successful person will need to be enthusiastic and flexible to support the learners within a range of life and work skills such as e.g. cooking, everyday living skills, gardening, literacy, numeracy, IT, citizenship, personal and social development and work skills at Pre Entry – level 1.
There may be a need to support learners with practical and physical difficulties during breaks times if and when required.
Responsibilities- To work alongside lecturers and instructors in the classroom.
- To help students get the most out of their learning.

Holiday EntitlementThere will be an entitlement to pro‑ratio paid holiday in each academic year (1st September to 31st August), which includes pro‑ratio entitlement of 8 Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in Wales and a pro‑ratio entitlement of up to 5 efficiency days (please note this can change annually). Annual leave is derived from a pro‑ratio full‑time equivalent entitlement of 28 days which is included in the hourly rate paid.
WorkingPattern
Up to 30 hours per week (to be confirmed).
Work days – Monday to Thursday – the work pattern to be agreed dependant on availability.
