Job Overview

We are an 18‑bed community rehab hospital in Dolgellau. An exciting opportunity has become available for a nurse‑led team to welcome a healthcare support worker. The post is permanent with part‑time hours available. You will work on the ward and may be required to rotate onto night duty. A flexible approach to working hours is essential.

The post holder will support the trained nurse and other health care professionals in delivering the highest standard of patient‑focused care. You will assist in improving the quality of fundamental aspects of health and social care for individuals who are acutely or chronically ill, frail or disabled. Applicants must have experience working in healthcare.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Assist the registered nurse in carrying out direct nursing care.
  • Perform patient observations: temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, blood glucose and urinalysis following period of on‑job instruction and training.
  • Undertake delegated duties related to patient care that contribute to the ongoing support of patients.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;
