Live-in Lifestyle / Care Assistant for a Linguistics Uni Student We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a disabled young female, who is studying Linguistics at Cambridge University.

She is looking for a like-minded person to join her care team of PAs who provide personal care and independent living support: this is a great opportunity to make a positive impact in a young adults life. Start: 28th September

Cambridge University (CB2 1TN
) / Bristol home location during holidays Shift Pattern: 14 days on / 14 days off (Live in) Rate of Pay & Benefits Pay: £200 per day / £1,400 per week Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata) Bespoke training in the clients particular requirements will be provided On-call support from client coordinator About the Job We are looking for a positive, like-minded PA to assist our client with her day-to-day living and general support isting her to lead as independent a life as possible.

Example duties include but not limited to:

-Personal Care Bathing, Dressing, Toileting.

-Health Care Administering medicine, using medical equipment, physio.

-Commuting Driving the clients adapted vehicle
-Social Support Going to events, club and pubs
- Styling Hair using straighteners for the client
-Housekeeping / Domestic duties including cooking Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided. About our Client Our client is very friendly with a great sense of humour.

She enjoys socialising with her friends and going out for meals, attending the cinema and theatre. Our client uses a powered wheelchair but is able to use public transport and drive independently.

She does not like being fussed over or patronised. She is keen to live as independently as possible and will want to be alone with her friends sometimes. As written by her I need someone who understands that I need privacy just like any young person. Please respect my privacy because I will want to be alone or with friends. Please dont keep asking if I need help.

I need someone who is going to be able to anticipate what needs doing after working for me for a while. I will help and guide you with how I want things done. I know exactly when and how I want things to be done and I will direct you, so do not worry if this all seems a lot.

If something isnt working for either of us, we can talk through it. Qualifications and Requirements:

- Clean Automatic Driving Licence (Desirable) - Friendly and personable
- Accurately follow directions
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Respects the client's privacy
- Responsible attitude
- Patient and caring
- Flexible Due to the personal care needs of the client, this role is open to female applicants only. This requirement is an occupational requirement as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
