Essential Homecare Services is a domiciliary care agency that provides high standards of care to service users within the North Down and Ards locality.
Essential Homecare Services have been providing care services in the North Down and Ards area since 1997. We provide service through our domiciliary care and dementia buddy respite services.
Our mission is to provide high standards of care to our service users and provide them with well trained and reliable staff to assist with their daily needs.
Monday - Friday (7am - 7pm) - £12.50 (Driver) £11.50 (Non-Driver) per hour Saturday & Sunday- £13.00 (Driver) £11.50 (Non-Driver) per hour (from 7pm-Midnight) £13.00 (Non-driver) Mileage Payment: 37 pence per mile
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA- The right to live and work in the UK
- Hold a full driving licence & access to a vehcile for work
- Willing to obtain business car insurance
- Be flexible in regard to working hours
- Previous experience within the care industry
- Attend service users homes and provide specified care duties as detailed in service users personal care plan
- Ensure compliance with personal care plan
- Comply with NISCC registration
- Report any changes in your personal circumstance which may affect your ability to perform your duties as a social care worker
- Assist with bathing in bed / bathroom / assessed chair
- Assist with incontinence product management / catheter care / stoma bag
- Assist with dressing / undressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers - using professional assessed equipment provided by healthcare professionals
- Assist with all aspects of feeding as per speech and language recommendations
- Assist with the provision of emotional support
- To communicate effectively with service users, work colleagues and Essential Homecare Services Management Team
- Be honest and trustworthy
- Be reliability
- Excellent attendance
- Highly self motivated
- Works to high standards
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to deal with service users and their families in a professional manner
In the event of a position being offered, the applicant will have to undergo an Access NI disclosure check with a cost to the applicant of £47.00
