Semi-Senior Accountant

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-established national firm with a strong Yorkshire presence in their search for a Semi-Senior Accountant.

In this role you will work closely with the Audit Director, assisting with the preparation of accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns. This position is centred around growth and development with the opportunity to expand your client exposure in a hands‑on role mentored by a senior team prioritising personal and team growth.

This is an ideal opportunity for an accounts candidate with prior experience in a practice and wanting to progress within a reputable and established firm.

• Preparing statutory accounts
• Liaising directly with SME clients, acting as a point of contact and responding to queries
• Preparing management accounts
• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns
• Partner with senior staff on client assignments

• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified
• Strong communication
