We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at our Volvo site in Doncaster. You will play a key role in the smooth running of the accounts department, ensuring supplier invoices, reconciliations, and financial records are processed accurately and on time.

Essentials (You Must Have)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct authorisation.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and goods receipt notes.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice or supplier discrepancies.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and purchase ledger accounts.
  • Maintain accurate purchase order and financial records.
  • Support month‑end and year‑end processes.
  • Assist with inventory and purchase ledger reconciliations.
  • Ensure all records are maintained for audit purposes.
About You
  • Experienced in purchase ledger or accounts administration.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident working with financial systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive, reliable, and committed to accuracy.
