Position: Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior
Our client is a well-established independent accountancy practice with a strong reputation for supporting owner-managed businesses, SMEs and entrepreneurial clients across the region. Due to continued growth they are keen to hear from experienced practice professionals looking to develop their careers within a collaborative and supportive environment. Working as part of an established audit and accounts team, you will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, delivering high quality audit and accountancy services while building long term client relationships.

• Planning and completing statutory audits for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with current accounting standards.
• Supporting managers and partners with client assignments and advisory work.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with owner-managed businesses and SME clients.
• Supervising, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members.
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of audit engagements from start to completion.
• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide practical commercial advice.
• Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

Candidate Profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Several years' experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong audit experience alongside accounts preparation.
• Experience managing client relationships and working across a varied portfolio.
• Good technical knowledge of UK accounting and audit standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Package & Working Pattern

• Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
