Sharp Consultancy are looking for a high calibre and ambitious Audit Senior to join a fast-growing accountancy practice in Doncaster. Our client is an exceptional and leading practice in South Yorkshire with a people‑centric attitude. Following an expansion of their own client base, they are now looking to grow their Audit function with a confident and diligent Audit Senior.

This role offers exposure to a broad and varied client portfolio, giving you the opportunity to lead audits from planning through to completion while building strong relationships with clients. You will work closely with senior members of the team, take responsibility for managing assignments and play a key role in supporting and developing junior colleagues.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified and bring strong technical expertise alongside a confident, client‑facing approach. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious auditor looking to progress their career within a fast growing and leading practice.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Planning, leading and completing audit assignments from start to finish
  • Prepare and review audit working papers and financial statements
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients
  • Maintaining strong working relationships
  • Identify audit and accounting queries and providing solutions
  • Managing audit teams
  • Supporting the development of trainees and semi‑senior team members
  • Managing workloads and deadlines across multiple assignments effectively
About you
  • ACA/ACCA qualified, or finalist level
  • Confidence to lead audits and manage client relationships
  • Strong communication
  • Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing practice environment
