Senior Management Accountant; Greyhounds

After a £34 million redevelopment, racegoers can enjoy an amazing raceday experience at this world class venue. At the heart of this new development is an impressive five-storey grandstand. The main stand includes stunning new private hospitality suites, a wide range of places to eat and drink, plus luxury dining experiences.

The role will take responsibility for the day-to-day processing of financial information across 5 sites ensuring strong financial procedures are in place. The role also entails the time management and development of 3 members of the finance team.

• Compilation of 1x Entities Management accounts with oversight & consolidation of 5x Entities, providing supporting narrative on group performance.
• Review & reconcile all balance sheet codes, ensuring relevant back up documentation & narrative is provided for all balances, taking ownership for these balance sheets across the 5 entities in conjunction with the Assistant Management Accountant.
• Review payroll file from central payroll department & process subsequent payroll journals.
• Reconcile raceday revenue (liaising with site General/Duty managers where applicable), posting meeting return journals on a weekly basis to Netsuite (accounting software).
• Manage & develop the teams Assistant Management Accountants & accounts apprentice providing feedback and a progression programme in quarterly appraisal meetings.
