Position: Service & Case Support Officer (CDC)

The City of Doncaster Council is a confident, ambitious organization that puts improving the lives of its residents at the centre of everything we do. You have an opportunity to be part of a busy team offering support across Young People’s Services.

We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a permanent part‑time member of staff to join the Service & Case Support Team. This highly skilled role provides administrative support across a range of Young People’s Services, including the Youth Justice Service, Return Home Interview Service, EPIC Youth Crime Prevention Team, Careers Information Advice & Guidance, Pause, Psychology Service and Children’s Rights.

The position involves direct support to Service Managers and the Strategic Lead as required.

The team delivers efficient, effective, and professional administrative and case‑management support to Young People’s Services, meeting quality standards and performance targets. The role is flexible, requires the ability to undertake new tasks in a fast‑paced and changing environment, and will involve handling confidential information within Data Protection guidelines.

Examples of High‑Quality Service
  • General administrative functions for Young People’s Services
  • Use of a variety of IT systems, including the MS Office package
  • Case‑level support
  • Supporting the court and custody processes
  • Business support for data collection processes
  • Service and electronic minute‑taking for a full range of professional and client‑focused meetings
  • Processing financial transactions
  • Project support for bids and innovation
  • Working closely with police and wider Social Care to manage and monitor missing young people
  • Collating performance data in relation to missing young people
