Senior Vehicle Technician / Workshop Controller needed in Doncaster

• Basic Salary: up to c. £40,000 depending on experience
• Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 with 1 hour break; 1 in 2 Saturdays 8-12
• Nice independent with a great local reputation
• Work on all makes and marques of cars
• Avoid the target-driven pressures of the PLC world

Our client, an independent garage in Doncaster, is looking for a Senior Vehicle Technician / Workshop Controller to work on all makes and marques of cars.

You will be on the tools most of the time, helping the manager with the running of the workshop at busy times and when he is away from the business.

The successful Senior Vehicle Technician / Workshop Controller will:

• Repair and service all makes and marques of cars
• Undertake routine maintenance
• Have a collegiate and sociable outlook to fit into the client’s team

The ideal Senior Vehicle Technician / Workshop Controller will have:

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent skill level
• Solid experience working in an automotive garage and perhaps some experience of helping to supervise workshop teams
• Full driving licence without excessive endorsements
• Own set of tools
• An address within a sensible commute of Doncaster
