Strategic Procurement Team Apprentice Level 3 (CDC)
Location: Civic Office/Hybrid, Doncaster
Salary: £8.00 per hour / £15,434.27 per annum from 1st April 2026. Year‑2 rates follow the National Minimum Wage appropriate to age. 18 Years and under £8.00 per hour / £15,392 per annum; 19–20 Years £10.85 per hour / £20,875 per annum; 21 Years and over £12.71 per hour / £24,454 per annum.
Contract: Apprenticeship – Temporary Fixed Term, 18–21 months from start date until completion of the qualification.
Hours: 37 hours per week, Full Time; hybrid working with a mix of home and office.

About the roleWe are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our Strategic Procurement Team, assisting with high‑quality, confidential support across procurement and supply functions. This role provides practical experience and training for a Level 3 qualification in procurement and supply.
Key responsibilities- Provide effective, high‑quality assistance to managers and teams.
- Manage email and diary, book meeting rooms, take meeting notes, and prepare agendas.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and support day‑to‑day operational functions.
- Maintain accurate and timely correspondence and documentation.
- Support procurement processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Confident with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Flexible, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Predicted five GCSEs at grades 9‑4 /A*‑C (including English and Maths) or equivalent.
- Strong time‑management and organisational skills.
- Willingness to travel between council sites as required.
