  • Undertake contract administration duties (NEC)
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and accounts
  • Assess, value, and negotiate variations and compensation events
  • Oversee applications for payment and final accounts
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, internal teams and the wider supply chain
  • Support and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors
  • Drive value engineering and cost‑saving initiatives across projects

  • Background in highways, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple schemes within a framework environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

The opportunity comes with excellent long‑term career prospects, exposure to a wide range of projects including small value, reactive works through to high value improvements, an excellent work‑life balance and a generous salary and package that includes:

  • Starting salary of up to £60,000
  • £4,500 car allowance
  • 25 days leave + bank holidays
  • Contributory pension
