Area Construction Manager

Area Construction Manager - North Yorkshire

Avant Homes is a house builder operating across the UK. We are looking for an Area Construction Manager to lead teams and oversee construction quality across our developments in Leeds, Scunthorpe and Gainsborough. This is a mobile role requiring travel to these sites.

• Lead and manage site teams to deliver high-quality units and a 5-star customer experience.
• Hold regular planning and programme performance review meetings with sales, commercial and technical colleagues.
• Monitor and report build resources and costs to ensure they remain in budget.
• Ensure Site Managers are aware of performance, completion targets, quality standards and site budgets.
• Provide construction reports, forecast information and KPI updates to the Construction Director, and operational feedback affecting the performance of developments.
• Recruit quality staff to site and manage training and performance to maintain competence and motivation.

• Currently employed as a Contracts Manager or Construction Manager for a new homes developer.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Relevant qualification or broad experience in construction.
• Proven multi-site project management and quality assurance experience.
• Excellent commercial awareness and technical knowledge.
• Understanding of the financial implications of building methods and sequences.
• Commitment to delivering a 5-star HBF service in customer service.
