Staff One are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Estimator to join a well-established construction company in the Doncaster area, with an immediate start available.
Our client specialises in delivering projects across a range of sectors, including Healthcare, Education, Residential, Industrial/Logistics and Refurbishment.
About the RoleAs a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for managing tenders from initial opportunity appraisal through to settlement and handover. You will work closely with the pre-construction, commercial, design and construction teams, while maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and material suppliers.
The successful candidate will be commercially aware, highly organised and able to confidently manage their own tenders, ensuring accurate, competitive and commercially viable project pricing.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out the initial appraisal of tender opportunities, ensuring all information is accurate, complete and suitable for pricing.
- Develop effective measurement and pricing strategies for each tender.
