I’m currently partnering with a growing and highly regarded water hygiene and compliance specialist that is continuing to expand its operations across the region. Due to continued growth and an increasing client portfolio, they are looking to appoint an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor covering Doncaster and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced assessor who takes pride in producing high-quality work and wants to join a business that values technical competence, professionalism and compliance. You’ll be working across a varied portfolio of commercial, healthcare, industrial and public‑sector sites.
The Role- Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on hot and cold-water systems.
- Undertaking detailed site surveys and assessing existing control measures.
- Producing comprehensive risk assessment reports and schematic drawings.
- Identifying areas of non‑compliance and providing clear remedial recommendations.
- Reviewing site records, monitoring programmes and written schemes of control.
- Liaising directly with clients and duty holders to discuss findings and provide practical compliance advice.
- Ensuring assessments are completed in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG
274 and BS 8580. - Managing your own diary and workload across Doncaster and the surrounding region.
Ideally, you'll already have experience working independently as a Legionella Risk Assessor and have a strong understanding of domestic hot and cold-water systems.
You’ll need a good working knowledge of current Legionella legislation and guidance, alongside the ability to produce accurate, detailed reports and communicate technical findings confidently to clients.
Experience with in healthcare, commercial, industrial or other complex environments would be advantageous, as would recognised Legionella Risk Assessment qualifications.
Beyond the technical requirements, we're looking for someone who is organised, self‑motivated and comfortable working autonomously while representing the business professionally on client sites.
