Kingfisher Primary Academy is a thriving two-form entry school with a 52-place nursery, located in the heart of Doncaster. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our committed team. You will play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting pupils’ learning in class, small groups, and one-to-one sessions.
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
- Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing environment that supports wellbeing and learning.
- Working collaboratively with staff to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
- A passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
