English Teacher

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Promote critical thinking, creativity, and strong literacy skills.

• Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.

• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement.

• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a supportive department.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Secondary English.

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.

• Experience teaching in a UK secondary school is desirable.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
