We are advertising on behalf of a Primary School in Doncaster for two temporary Year 1 Teaching Assistant positions. Both roles offer the opportunity to support learning in a friendly, nurturing environment and make a positive impact on children's development during the early stages of Key Stage 1.

• Hours:
  
  27.5 hours per week
• Days/Times:
  Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm
• Contract Dates: 5th January - 12th February 2026

• Hours:
  
  35 hours per week
• Days/Times:
  Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm
• Contract Dates: 18th & 19th December 2025 and 5th January - 12th February 2026

• Support teaching and learning within Year 1 classrooms.
• Assist in planning and delivering activities that meet the needs of all pupils.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and academic development.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

• Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in KS1.
• Understanding of the needs of young learners and the ability to provide effective support.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A positive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
