Site Services Officer/Caretaker/General Maintenance
Location: BLESSED THOMAS HOLFORD CATHOLIC COLLEGE, Urban Road, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA15 8HT
Salary: Band 3: £25,989 to £28,142 (SCP 6 to 11)
Working hours: Full time / all year 36.25 hours per week (7.25 hours per day)
Normal working pattern during term time on a two‑week rota: Week 1: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm and Week 2: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
Working pattern during school holidays: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Key responsibilities: The successful candidate will be part of the site team, holding key positions. The role is to support and maintain the school premises, ensuring facilities are safe, secure, clean and well maintained at all times.
What we’re looking for- flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the school
- practical, hands‑on problem‑solving skills
- basic DIY/painting experience and ideally prior caretaking/security experience
- able to work independently and as part of a team
- 26 days annual leave, increasing to 31 days after 5 years; plus Bank Holidays
