The School and Role:
Vision for Education is recruiting for a full-time Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to start ASAP at a primary school in Doncaster. You will be responsible for covering PPA time across school (EYFS, KS1, KS2) and supporting children on a 1:1 basis with SEND.

The school is part of a large multi‑academy trust and provides education for children aged 3‑11 years old. The school is a two-form entry school and currently has 460 pupils. The school was recently inspected by Ofsted and was “Outstanding” in all areas.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Sheffield (Contract)

Location:

Sheffield (primary school, 2-form entry, rated ‘GOOD’). Contract.

Salary: £100 - £110 Daily.

Role:
Support a mixed year 1/2 class with special needs. You will support a named pupil or a group of students in traditional and non-traditional learning environments, provide a supportive approach, assist learners, implement specific educational programmes, deliver activities to small groups, record observations, handle challenging behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Available long-term, full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.
  • Have SEN experience (professional or personal).
  • DBS certificate with live subscription or willingness to obtain one.
  • Commitment to safeguarding.

Primary SEND Teaching Assistant – Various Primary Schools (Immediate)

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working in UK primary schools (essential).
  • Experience supporting children with SEND (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD).
  • Team Teach training highly desirable.
  • Confident managing behaviour and supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • Flexible, reliable, capable of adapting to different school environments.
  • Holds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
