Are you a knowledgeable and innovative Computer Science Teacher passionate about preparing students for the digital world?

GSL Education are seeking a dynamic Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming school in Tickhill, DN11. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and practical lessons across Key Stages, equipping pupils with the skills and confidence to thrive in technology-driven careers.

Responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons that inspire curiosity and creativity.
• Cover topics such as programming, algorithms, data representation, and digital literacy.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all abilities.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the ICT and Computing curriculum.

Requirements for the role:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
• Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and related technologies.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners.
• Passion for promoting digital literacy and computational thinking.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
