We’re looking for a dedicated, proactive, and caring Site Manager to join our school community in the village of Braithwell, near Doncaster.

Purpose of the RoleTo lead and manage the site services team including catering, cleaning, and caretaking, ensuring that the school environment is safe, clean, secure and suitable for the needs of autistic children and the wider school community. The postholder will have responsibility for ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations, statutory requirements and school policies across the school site. The postholder will work with the Health and Safety lead at Autism East Midlands to ensure the site is compliant for all stakeholders.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing:
- Leading on all aspects of health and safety across the school site
- Conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Managing contractors and overseeing site maintenance and repairs
- Supporting emergency planning and safeguarding procedures
- Being a friendly, reassuring presence for staff, pupils, and visitors alike
- A strong understanding of health and safety legislation
- Experience in site or facilities management (school experience is a bonus, but not essential)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A hands‑on, can‑do attitude and a genuine care for the wellbeing of others
- Someone who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and nurturing environment
