Cover Supervisor Opportunity - Doncaster

Academics Education Agency is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Doncaster
.

This role is well suited to graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals who are passionate about education and training and confident working with young people in a classroom environment.

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following school policies.
• Lead and support secondary-aged pupils across KS3 and KS4.
• Gain valuable experience within a range of secondary school settings.

• Competitive daily rates of pay, paid weekly via PAYE and inclusive of holiday pay.
• Flexible working to suit your availability and lifestyle.
• Typical school hours: 8:30am - 3:30/4:00pm.
• No planning or marking required.
• Opportunities to work in a variety of secondary schools across Doncaster.
• Ongoing education and training, including safeguarding and Prevent training.
• Dedicated education consultants providing ongoing support and career guidance.
• A clear pathway into teacher training or longer-term education roles.

To be considered for a Cover Supervisor role with Academics, applicants should ideally have:

• Degree-level education - ideally education specific (or equivalent).
• Experience leading groups of secondary-aged pupils
  , ideally in an educational setting.
• Confidence delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  .
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners.
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
• The legal right to work in the UK.
• Flexibility to travel to secondary schools across Doncaster.
• A genuine interest in education and training.
