Temporary Cover Manager

Your new companyThis Cover Manager has been made available by Secondary School in Doncaster. The school has a very dedicated workforce that focusses on the educational outcomes of all students and aims to create a learning community that is both supportive and safe in an environment of mutual respect.Your new roleThis school is currently looking for a temporary, full-time cover manager to start as soon as possible.

In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the school inside and outside the classroom. Your time in this role will include:

• Arrange cover for absences, on the day and preplanned
• Liaise with external agencies
• Induct and oversee supply staff
• Manage cover supervisors, directing them each day.
• General admin duties
• Check and input the details of agency staff on the system, including copies of their DBS's.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this Doncaster-based school cover manager role, you should have:

• Commitment to safeguarding and professionalism
• Calmness under pressure and a positive, organised approach.
• Good initiative and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbally.
• Ability to work independently and guide a team
• Strong attention to detail and punctuality.
