Lecturer Beauty & Nails – DN Colleges Group

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of nail technicians and beauty therapists? We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Lecturer in Beauty Therapy & Nails to join our Hair & Beauty team. You will deliver high‑quality teaching, support learners to achieve their full potential and play a vital role in shaping our curriculum.

Essential Criteria
  • Relevant Nails and Beauty industry qualification or equivalent.
  • Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Minimum Level 2 Maths and English.
  • Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach Nails and Beauty Therapy across a range of levels.
  • Experience of embedding Functional Skills English and/or Maths within lessons.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging high‑quality teaching across Nails and Beauty Therapy programmes from Entry Level to Level 3.
  • Act as a course tutor, providing pastoral support and monitoring student progress, attendance and behaviour.
  • Use innovative and inclusive teaching methods including the integration of digital learning technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records including assessments, progress‑tracking registers and course documentation.
  • Support curriculum development, quality assurance processes and marketing and recruitment activities such as Open Days and promotional events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and uphold college policies including safeguarding, equality and diversity.
  • Keep up to date with industry developments and participate in ongoing professional development.

This is a part‑time position working approximately 28 to 29.5 hours per week. Final hours will be agreed with the successful candidate. Please note that the role includes working on Wednesday evenings until 7:00 pm.
