Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of Beauty Therapy professionals? We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Beauty Therapy to join our Hair & Beauty department on a fixed‑term basis. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching, pastoral support and assessment, helping learners develop their skills, confidence, and career aspirations.
Join our supportive team, contribute to high‑quality curriculum delivery, and maintain strong industry links to ensure learners receive a current, relevant and engaging experience.
Part‑time position29–30 hours per week, worked over four days. Flexibility can be discussed with the manager during interview.
Salary£27,600.64–£34,935.60 per annum (29 hours) and £28,552.39–£36,140.28 per annum (30 hours)
Essential Criteria- A relevant Beauty Therapy–related degree or equivalent qualification.
- Recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum and qualification frameworks.
- Experience embedding Functional Skills English and/or maths within lessons.
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
- Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment across Beauty Therapy programmes.
- Act as a course tutor, providing pastoral support and monitoring attendance, behaviour and progress.
- Plan and deliver innovative, inclusive lessons using a range of teaching strategies and digital technologies.
- Maintain accurate records including lesson plans, schemes of work, assessments, eILPs and e‑registers.
- Contribute to curriculum development, course reviews and quality assurance processes.
- Participate in marketing activities such as Open Days and promotional events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, industry partners and support teams to enhance learner outcomes.
