Academics is recruiting a PPA Cover Supply Teacher to work across mainstream primary schools in Doncaster on a temporary, ongoing basis.

Position: PPA Cover Supply Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: 130 - 190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that suits you

PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover involves teaching classes while the regular class teacher is out of the classroom completing their allocated PPA time. As a PPA Cover Supply Teacher, you will be  floating  across different year groups throughout the week.

This means you may teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, so experience across multiple primary key stages is highly desirable. The role is perfect for adaptable teachers who enjoy variety and building relationships across whole-school settings.

As a PPA Cover Supply Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain strong classroom management, and ensure continuity of learning across different classes and age groups.

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various primary year groups
• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments
• Maintain positive behaviour and engagement
• Ensure pupils remain on track with their learning
• Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching across primary age ranges (desirable)
• Confident teaching different year groups
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
