About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning and upholding high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring students remain focused and engaged.

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.

• Provide guidance and support to students during lessons to facilitate understanding of tasks.

• Report back to teaching staff on student progress, behaviour, and any concerns.

• Adapt confidently to different classroom settings and respond effectively to the needs of students.

• Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all pupils.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is desirable.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Confident classroom presence with effective behaviour management abilities.

• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments.

• A proactive and positive attitude towards supporting student learning.
