Drama Teacher – Doncaster

PK Education are working with a secondary school in Doncaster who are looking to appoint a full-time Drama Teacher for the final half term of the academic year.

This role will involve teaching Drama across KS3, KS4 and KS5 within a supportive and well-established Creative Arts department. The school are looking for someone who can deliver engaging practical lessons, inspire confidence in students, and maintain strong classroom management across all key stages.

Drama is a valued subject within the school, with strong participation at both KS4 and KS5. The department encourages creativity, collaboration, and performance, while also supporting students through the analytical and written side of the curriculum.

All planning and marking will be completed by the department, allowing the successful candidate to focus purely on lesson delivery, classroom engagement, and maintaining continuity for students through the final half term.

The school itself has supportive leadership, clear behaviour systems, and a collaborative staff culture, allowing teachers to focus on delivering high-quality lessons and building positive relationships with students.

The Role

Teaching Drama across KS3, KS4 and KS5
Delivering pre-planned lessons set by the department
Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and engagement
Supporting rehearsals, performances, and extracurricular activities where required

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant secondary teaching experience
Experience teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong classroom presence and behaviour management
Creative, energetic, and confident teaching style

This role would suit someone looking for a straightforward full-time teaching role through to summer without the additional workload of planning and marking.
