About the role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across the school. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality support, lead learning activities, and contribute to positive outcomes for all pupils.

Key responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals, groups, or whole classes
  • Provide high-quality support to pupils, including those with additional needs
  • Cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher when required
  • Support the assessment of pupil progress and contribute to planning
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to raise achievement
What we are looking for
  • Experience of working effectively within a primary school setting
  • HLTA status or equivalent experience/qualification
  • Strong understanding of teaching and learning strategies
  • The ability to motivate, inspire and support pupils of all abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to high expectations and safeguarding practices
