Kingfisher Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Class Teacher (KS1 or KS2) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a practitioner who has a strong track record of raising attainment and is passionate about improving the life chances of every child.

Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge all pupils
- Set high expectations to promote excellent progress and strong pupil outcomes
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform future teaching
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to support pupil development
- Is a graduate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Demonstrates evidence of outstanding classroom practice
- Has a proven record of raising attainment across the primary phase, including meeting the needs of pupils with SEND
- Has high expectations of pupils and themselves
- Is enthusiastic, imaginative and forward-thinking
- Can inspire, motivate and engage children to succeed
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and governors
- Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
