Kingfisher Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Class Teacher (KS1 or KS2) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a practitioner who has a strong track record of raising attainment and is passionate about improving the life chances of every child.

Kingfisher Primary Academy is a larger-than-average primary school in Doncaster, serving a diverse community of pupils aged 3 to 11. We place children and their wellbeing at the centre of everything we do, creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge all pupils
• Set high expectations to promote excellent progress and strong pupil outcomes
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform future teaching
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to support pupil development

• Is a graduate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Demonstrates evidence of outstanding classroom practice
• Has a proven record of raising attainment across the primary phase, including meeting the needs of pupils with SEND
• Has high expectations of pupils and themselves
• Is enthusiastic, imaginative and forward-thinking
• Can inspire, motivate and engage children to succeed
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and governors
• Has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
