Reception Class Teacher

About the role

A vibrant and supportive primary school in Doncaster is seeking an enthusiastic Reception Class Teacher to join their Early Years team on a full-time, long-term supply basis starting from the Easter holidays through justteachers. This temporary role involves leading a Reception class and delivering creative, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework. The school is proud of its welcoming atmosphere, strong early years provision and commitment to developing confident, curious learners.

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS learning activities and lessons
• Support children’s social, emotional and academic development
• Observe, assess and record pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider EYFS team
• Foster a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

• Relevant qualifications (e.g. QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
• Proven experience of teaching within an EYFS classroom setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early years development
• Two education or school-based references
• A creative and nurturing teaching approach with strong safeguarding awareness
