PMLD Teacher (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) Doncaster

Are you a specialist PMLD teacher who believes that every moment is a milestone?
The roleAcademics Ltd is seeking dedicated, creative, and resilient PMLD Teachers to work within our partner specialist schools.
What you’ll do- Design and deliver holistic, sensory-rich learning for pupils with complex medical, physical, and cognitive needs.
- Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and families.
- Create a safe, predictable, yet stimulating environment where each child can thrive on their own terms.
- UK QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
- Proven experience teaching pupils with PMLD (essential).
- A working understanding of EHCPs, moving and handling, and communication aids (eye gaze, switches, AAC).
- Flexibility – Choose your working days and placements. Long-term, short-term, or day-to-day.
- Excellent pay – Competitive rates, paid to scale for long-term roles, reflecting your specialist skills.
- Unmatched support – A dedicated consultant (often a former SEND teacher) who understands PMLD and has your back.
