The Directors of Exceed Learning Partnership and Governors of Edlington Victoria Academy are looking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our amazing classroom support team working in Early Years with some support in Key Stage 1.
Fixed term: from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027 with the potential to extend at Edlington Victoria or another school within Exceed Learning Partnership Schools.
Edlington Victoria Academy is part of Exceed Learning Partnership, a Multi Academy Trust that currently comprises 10 Academies including Bentley High Street Primary School, Carr Lodge Academy, Edlington Victoria Academy, Hall Cross Academy, Hill Top Academy, Rosedale Primary School, Sandringham Primary School, Sheep Dip Lane Academy, The Mallard Academy and Willow Primary School.

Able to work as part of a team: Able to collaborate with teachers and other staff, take initiative, anticipate needs and improve the learning experience.
High level of literacy and numeracy skills: Strong foundation in literacy and numeracy to help pupils with core curriculum activities.
Ability to implement our Behaviour Management strategies: Understanding how behaviour is linked to learning and emotional well-being.
Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN): Awareness of diverse learning needs; experience or training is an advantage.
Passion for working with children: Genuine enthusiasm for helping children succeed.
