Milk Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Doncaster. This exciting opportunity is available from September and involves teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, communication, and critical thinking skills. This is a full‑time position within a supportive English department committed to helping students achieve their full potential.

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that engage and challenge learners
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school expectations
• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education
