Are you a dedicated and compassionate Autism Specialist Teacher who can provide structure, consistency, and personalised support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)?

Reeson Education are recruiting a skilled Autism Specialist Teacher for a supportive and inclusive school in Doncaster (DN6) starting from September 2026
. This role is ideal for a resilient and adaptable professional who is passionate about helping autistic pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

As an Autism Specialist Teacher, you will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons while creating a structured and predictable learning environment. You will support pupils with Autism by using tailored teaching strategies, sensory‑aware approaches, and clear communication methods to promote academic achievement, independence, and emotional wellbeing.

• Specialist Teaching: Deliver engaging lessons adapted to meet the individual needs of pupils with Autism.
• Structured Learning Environment: Maintain clear routines, visual supports, and predictable classroom expectations.
• Communication & Interaction Support: Use autism‑friendly strategies to develop communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation skills.
• Progress Monitoring: Assess and track academic, social, and emotional progress, adapting support where necessary.

  Work closely with support staff, parents, therapists, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure positive outcomes for pupils.

• Proven experience working with pupils with Autism within SEN, specialist, or mainstream educational settings.
• Strong understanding of autism‑specific teaching strategies and approaches.
• Excellent communication, patience, and relationship‑building skills.
• The ability to create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment.
• A flexible, resilient, and child‑centred approach to teaching.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.

• Competitive daily rate of £150–£230, depending on experience.
