Intervention Specialist – Doncaster (DN4)

Reeson Education is recruiting an experienced education professional for a supportive and inclusive school in Doncaster (DN4) starting from September 2026.

As an Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to improve academic progress, confidence, and engagement. You will deliver structured interventions, monitor progress, and collaborate with teaching staff to ensure positive outcomes for all learners.

• Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions to support pupil progress.
• Identify learning gaps and implement effective intervention strategies.
• Support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and engagement with learning.
• Monitor, assess, and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals to support individual learning plans.

• Previous experience within an educational setting, ideally delivering interventions or targeted support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Enhanced DBS on the updated service, or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
• Strong safeguarding awareness – all applicants must meet full safer‑recruitment requirements.
