Roving Tutor
The National Horse racing College seeks a dedicated Roving Tutor to join its vibrant team. The role involves educating and supporting young people within the horse racing and equine industry.
Work Hours:
41 hours per week, including a ½ hour unpaid meal break each day.
Salary: £34,951.40 per annum, with a contributory pension scheme.
Position is located in the scenic grounds of a private estate near Doncaster.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver teaching and coaching to students in the Foundation Course.
- Work with young people who may exhibit challenging behaviours.
- Support students in developing resilience, discipline, and maturity through hands‑on experience with animals.
- Maintain accurate records and evidence of continuous professional development.
- Level 3 Diploma in Racehorse Care and Management or equivalent.
- Teaching qualification (Certificate in Education) or willingness to complete within a short period.
- Coaching qualification or willingness to complete within a short period.
- Valid driving licence.
- Relevant ICT experience.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
