Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Salary: Up to £200 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: September 2026

As a Supply Teacher, you will work across a variety of primary and secondary schools, delivering high-quality lessons in line with the school's curriculum and expectations. Whether covering planned absences or providing longer-term support, you will ensure pupils remain engaged, motivated and progressing in their learning. Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups as required.
  • Follow lesson plans and adapt teaching where appropriate to meet pupils’ needs.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Assess pupils’ understanding and provide feedback where appropriate.
  • Build positive working relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • Uphold safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within UK primary and/or secondary schools.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A flexible, adaptable and professional approach to teaching.
  • Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
